Nakivubo Stadium Raises Ham’s Star Rating
You will be known by your works, Jesus Christ proclaimed during one of his deeply prophetic teachings.
Jesus’ teaching fits in well with God’s pledge to bless the labor of each and every laborer, not only underscoring the importance God attaches to work but also to its quality.
Inspired by those words of divine wisdom, businessman Hamis Kiggundu Segawa, popularly known as Ham, has been struggling to build and develop his motherland Uganda to the extent that he has since remarkably delivered a fresh and modern national Hamz Nakivubo Sports facility to the pride of his motherland.
Along with the stadium, Ham has been able to painstakingly put in place a number of massive real estate developments in the form of shopping malls at Nakivubo, changing for good the hitherto scandalously ugly as well as notoriously criminal face of the said downtown business hub.
God has been watching up from heaven all that Ham has been doing, blessing the amazing works of his humble and hardworking laborer in the process.
Vision to Reality
True to Jesus’ teachings, Ham’s amazing works have been drawing and continue to draw attention towards him and his motherland Uganda from near and far, raising his star rating in the process.
Notable personalities like Uganda’s president, Gen Yoweri Kaguta Museveni have gone on record to register their compliments on the good job delivered by Ham in relation to the quality standards of the country’s new modern Hamz Nakivubo sports facility.
Museveni deserves kudos for his deep sense of foresight which enabled him to resist spoilers, entrusting Ham with the stadium’s development, and, supporting him amidst misguided criticism all through to the delivery of the end product.
Museveni’s compliments were inspired by kudos a team of CAF inspectors glowingly expressed upon their assessment of the country’s new stadium, leading them to provisionally assert that the sports facility stands a good chance of hosting some of the games of the upcoming 2027 Afcon round of games.
Fufa, the local soccer governing body, led by Hon Moses Hashim Magogo, has since also joined the long list of notable entities and personalities to convey their thanks to Ham for giving the country a much better stadium.
Away from home, Namibia’s first female prime minister, His Excellency Dr Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwa has since toured the Nakivubo sports facility, requesting Ham to oblige to build a similar national stadium for his country.
Transforming Uganda’s Landscape
Ham nodded in the affirmative to the Namibian leader, portraying the Ugandan businessman’s deep sense of Pan-Africanism.
Impressed by the top-notch facilities at the stadium, Dr Netumbo took time off to show off her netball shooting prowess, drawing ululations from Ham and other personalities around.
Just only recently, the Malaysian Diplomatic envoy to East Africa, His Excellency Ruzaima Mohamad paid a visit to the new stadium in the company of that country’s Consular to Uganda, Alhajj Habib Kagimu, putting off a hat for Ham over a job well done.
In the final analysis, and as compliments continue to steadily flow in from within and without Uganda, Ham has proved true his words echoed in his book titled,’ Success and Failure Based On Reason and Reality’, that Ugandans can develop Uganda so longer as they have the strong determination and strong will to do so.
