MPUUGA’S DEEPEST SLEEP

From just a concluded NUP changes in the parliament, it has finally shown the cold war that has been ongoing for months in 2023 as Mpuuga worked tirelessly for his demotion as LOP.

God answered the old man’s cry, and our learned friend and the legendary George Kanyehumba let out a verbal statement that made rounds on social media lamenting how bad Mpuuga is! not fit for that position as leader of opposition after advising him of the certain clause that wasn’t good for this country and needed to be worked on instead he went into hibernation until when he left office.

Did Mpuuga forget about his calendar?

Who Mpuuga was before holding the previous office as leader of opposition (LOP). Mpuuga has enjoyed his political career being an MP to the new constituency Nyendo – Mukungwe, It all started with him being part of the group that formed the youth wing (UYD) of the Democratic party while at Makerere University, after serving in other positions and he has been tested before and his level of seniority is capable enough to hold any other position politically, although this time he never saw his demotion that early.

By the looks of his duties as LOP, he woke up late, he couldn’t pick up his lost time, and tried to cover up, if we could remember he started making country-wide movements checking hospitals and a few visits to the arrested Nup members but all this was

There are three presidents that exposed the ongoing cold war within the party, the first being that of WAISSWA MUFUNBIRO’s wedding reception at re-known Busabala beach, we don’t recall any smiles and conversations between Bobi wine and Mpuuga, yet he is his right-hand man in the house.

But even the seat arrangements saw us the distance, Bobi’s speech was too open to expose things apart., about some time there was an exchange of words about the 40m bribe by Nup MPs, and from that moment it depended on the Cold War, which saw Mpuuga’s saying nobody gives him what to do on air, little did he know that this was rot of his position as LOP.

Unfolding Dynamics at Mufunbiro’s Wedding

Citing back at Mufunbiro’s wedding, it’s only a few NUP members with a third Eye that picked dots who the party deputy speaker meant for both the party and Bobi wine!!! From the beginning to the end of his speech while at the wedding.

Another blow to Mpuuga could have come from the diminishing respect for Waisswa after Mpuuga referred to him as “NADIBANGA” the bird that spends almost its entire day in water! It all went by saying that this bird spoils the waters not minding about other users of the same.

And am 100% sure that the so-called NADIBANGA was part of the two heads that prepared who the next lop would be from corridors.

For those who have tested power and higher offices don’t want to step down to give room to other young and energetic blood, we saw the Katikiro of Buganda at the Buganda festival that opened the year 2023 saying  “Kabaka Omusajja Wo Bamuyuya”.

Demotion and Ssenyonyi’s Ascendance

But some of us saw this coming, citing back the common characteristics of members of former 4GC (for God & my country) and SUUBI as political wings of their unknown a genders to which former lop has been the leader in it or part of the founder members and, have always been formed within parties but here no room was given to create such.

Joel Ssenyonyi

One would comfortably say that Mpuuga went to bed until date when he was demoted after failing to show his purpose of checking the government, and this is seen as syndicate when the supplementary budget was soon to be tabled and Mpuuga pulled a stunt and led the opposition to strike out of the parliament, soon after the supplementary budget/monies were passed so easily without any opposition Mp in the house and it’s from the political corridors that his a senior puppet.

A lot was noticed on the handover day of the office of LOP when most MPs made a standing ovation and a loud round of applause to the newly elected leadership of Joel Ssenyonyi.

A moment of silence was put to an interpretation and the body language of the opposition wing. Ssenyonyi’s welcome showed smiles on the faces of the majority of MPs, this act alone showed that MPs were not on good terms with the ex-LOP leader.
