HEALTH BLUES: Kabaka Mutebi To Spend Xmas in Germany Hospital

Depressing news coming through indicates that Buganda’s beloved King, His Highness Ronald Muwenda Mutebi is likely slated to spend the entire Christmas season in Germany as he continues to receive specialized treatment for a strange disease the world’s top medical doctors have for months now continued to grapple to unravel in vain. 

Kabaka flew back to Germany a month or so after the disease set in again, troubling his already troubled health situation, and has since remained detained by his specialist doctors to date. The latest we have is that the German specialist doctors grappling with treating the King, are very hesitant to release him before making headway in his treatment, sparking fears that His Highness could stay longer on his sickbed in a foreign land,  missing enjoying the looming Christmas season with his family and subjects, waiting eagerly for his quick arrival back home.

“All of us are all worried just the rest of you are about what is going to happen next since the information we continue to receive is that medical doctors in Germany aren’t willing and ready to release Kabaka any time soon”, our deeply concerned sources have informed us. The specialized medical doctors, as per our sources, do not want to release the Kabaka quickly just because that’s what many of his subjects would wish to happen and then be blamed later for having recklessly done so without doing enough to fix the ailment troubling him.

This website had contacted several highly placed sources within the Mengo establishment and others from Kabaka palaces, seeking to receive updates about the results of Kabaka’s ongoing treatment in Germany and about when the high-profile patient is likely going to fly back to his kingdom. Reluctant to commit themselves, our sources stated the earliest they suspect Kabaka will arrive back in Uganda could be New Year’s Eve or soon thereafter.

” What we want to confirm for now is that the doctors are very reluctant to release the Kabaka within the nearest and immediate few weeks,” our sources insisted. Mengo says Kabaka is troubled by a serious type of allergy but highly placed and informed palace sources exclusively told us recently that the King himself suspects he was set up and got poisoned by bad people. The palace sources revealed to us that the Kabaka first broke the said sadly to the former Kampala Catholic Diocese’s  Archbishop Cyprian Kizito Lwanga before he died.

Kabaka Mutebi appears in public at his palace in Mengo, ushering in the new year at a music concert dubbed Enkuuka [bash] organized by Buganda’s CBS FM Radio. But since the King remains unwell and out of the country and with no sign or suggestion as to how soon he is going to be released by his doctors in Germany, we are unable to tell whether or not he is going to be able to be present at the function let alone ushering in the 2024 new year. 

In the circumstances, we at the Bulletin Media just like the rest of all of you, can only beseech the Almighty God to hand to the Kabaka the early Christmas gift of a steady, quick, and everlasting recovery so that he can be able to quickly leave his sickbed in Germany and quickly join his subjects very perturbed currently as to what exactly is going on around his health.
