World War Veterans: Shock As 100Bn Compensation Wired From Britain Is Stolen From Local Bank

Breaking and stunning news on our desk indicates that compensation for World War veterans worth one hundred billion shillings was wired to a local bank and removed in a matter of days and therefore it is missing. 

The local bank under the spotlight is affiliated with one of the mainstream religious faiths in Uganda.

The funds were wired to the bank in question as latest as December last year by the Finance, Planning and Economic Development planning after receiving it from the government of Her Majesty the Queen of England. 

The Bulletin can irrefutably reveal that an association representing the interests of the World War veterans and or their surviving families contacted the bank upon receiving information that the money had been actually wired there and the bank answered back in the affirmative. 

However,  when the association reverted to the bank a few days thereafter, the bank shockingly printed and gave them a statement that displayed zero balance from a total of 50 billion shillings that the bank had earlier admitted to have admitted from the Finance, Planning and Economic Development. 

We can further authoritatively confirm that the said compensation was wired by Britain to the Ministry of Defense and Veterans Affairs which then handed the same to the Finance, Planning and Economic  Development Ministry.

This is a developing story which we are keenly investigating to its logical conclusion since our forefathers shed blood and many were killed as they fought in the two world wars and are therefore entitled or their relatives to that compensation and yet which wrong characters are messing up with the intention to divert it and shamelessly enrich themselves.
